1. What is collected

When you send a message. Your name, your email address, your message, and if you choose to add them, a project type and an attached file.

When you buy a plan. Your email address and billing details. Card numbers are entered on the payment provider's own page and are never seen or stored by this site. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, the amount, which plan it was for, and your email address so the file can be delivered.

When you simply visit. The hosting provider records standard server information such as IP address, browser type and page requested. This is ordinary web server logging.

2. How it is used

• To answer the message you sent
• To process your payment and prevent fraud
• To deliver the plan you bought and reissue the link if it expires
• To send an order confirmation and receipt
• To keep records required for tax and accounting
• To keep the site secure and working

You will not be added to a mailing list. This site has no newsletter, and buying a plan does not sign you up for anything.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you buy a plan you are taken to a page hosted by Stripe, you enter your details there, and you are returned here afterwards. This site never receives, handles or stores your card number, expiry date or security code. Stripe processes your information under its own privacy policy.

4. Services used

Each service sees only what it needs to do its job:

• Netlify hosts the site and handles contact form submissions
• Stripe processes payments
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces the site is set in, which means your browser requests them from Google
• An email provider sends your order confirmation and download link

No other third-party service is used, and none is added without this page being updated.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising cookies and does no cross-site tracking. It does not sell personal information and does not share it for targeted advertising. Stripe may set cookies needed for fraud prevention and to complete a payment; those are required for checkout to work.

6. Sharing

Your information is not sold, rented or traded. It is shared only with the providers listed above so they can perform their function, or where the law requires disclosure.

7. How long it is kept

• Messages are kept while the conversation is open and for a reasonable period after
• Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require
• Download links are valid for 30 days; the order record is what allows a link to be reissued
• Server logs are kept for the short period the hosting provider retains them

8. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to brookeashleybarnes@gmail.com.

Records of a completed sale have to be kept for tax purposes and cannot be deleted on request. Where that applies you will be told which records are kept and why. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR; those rights are honored wherever you are.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and payment details are handled entirely by Stripe. Purchased plan files are not stored at any public web address: a file is released only after the payment behind that order has been confirmed. No system is perfectly secure, and if a breach affects your information you will be told.

10. Children

This site is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13. Information is not knowingly collected from them. If you believe a child has sent information through this site, write in and it will be deleted.

11. Changes

This policy is updated when the site changes, for example if a new service is connected. The date at the top shows when the current version took effect.
